STEP 01

Step 1 — Read Today’s Ramen (G) and your prep checklist

Max V2 Part 4 opens the day by reading Today’s Ramen: active broth × tare pairs plus topping rows (cabbage, green onion, chashu, crab in the preview run). Treat that list as your mise checklist — not every ingredient needs chopping every day. Official store copy also describes mise before service; ticket reading stays in /guides/customer-orders-guide.

STEP 02

Step 2 — Chop cabbage on the white cutting board

Part 4 uses the standard white board + cleaver loop: interact until cabbage is chopped, then park portions on grey “cooking” trays (not black serving trays — see /guides/dish-washing-guide). Day 1 patch notes mention cutting-board lock/unlock via right-click; preview footage still chops while locked (/guides/beginners-guide).

STEP 03

Step 3 — Cut garlic on the white cutting board

Max V2 Part 3 lists Grated Garlic on Today’s Ramen, then runs the Cut Garlic board loop with cloves staged on a metal tray (facecam cropped from this still). Same rhythm as cabbage — load a cooking tray after chopping. Tray unlock timing stays in /guides/dish-washing-guide.

STEP 04

Step 4 — Slice pork loin / chashu into a cooking tray

Part 4 batches sliced pork loin on the board, then loads a cooking tray so rush tickets only need pickup — same chashu also feeds rice bowls (/guides/rice-bowl-guide) and side-dish prep (/guides/side-dishes-guide). Official screenshots show physical chashu placement; this page covers bulk slicing only.

STEP 05

Step 5 — Stage cooking trays on the steel pass

After chopping, Part 4 parks cabbage, green onion and garlic on the same stainless line as shoyu/miso bottles — a visual mirror of Order Slip rows during service (/guides/customer-orders-guide). Part 4 commentary warns cooking trays “fill up fast” when gyoza and beer join the menu; order spares early.

STEP 06

Step 6 — Park menma, noodles and chilled trays before open

Part 5 lines the walk-in fridge with menma packs, noodle bags and finished trays (green onion, chashu, halved eggs) before the 10:00 banner. Mid-shift menma restocks use the Food Market terminal — see /guides/customer-orders-guide. Restock delivery timing is covered in /guides/handcart-guide, not here.

Japanese Ramen Simulator Add Simmering Pot UI dropping a shell egg into the highlighted pot beside a cardboard egg carton on the stainless counter at 10:00 on day 19 morning prep
STEP 07

Step 7 — Boil eggs in the simmering pot off-peak

Part 5’s level-16 beat adds packaged eggs and a seasoned-egg tray. Preview checklist: place a simmering pot, add water, drop ten (or more) shell eggs, boil, then move to the tray — halving waits until tickets ask (/guides/customer-orders-guide). Unlock level is observed only; check /guides/level-unlocks-guide for your EA build.

STEP 08

Step 8 — Park boiled eggs on the seasoned egg tray until ready

After peeling, Part 5 parks boiled eggs on the seasoned-egg tray, adds shoyu tare, and waits for the marinate bar — UI later marks them “Can Be Cut.” Service then halves eggs to match slip rows (/guides/customer-orders-guide). Do not confuse this tray with black serving trays (/guides/dish-washing-guide).

▶ Watch this moment at 42:38
📸 Wait for Can Be Cut — halve only when slips ask for halved egg rows.

STEP 09

Step 9 — Stack water glasses before you flip the sign open

JMXP Part 1 “prepare for the day” includes stacking glasses at the water dispenser while broth finishes — separate from topping trays. Water patience tricks appear in /guides/customer-orders-guide; beer prep stays in /guides/beer-pouring-guide. Then walk the pass once: trays match Today’s Ramen rows, eggs marinating, menma reachable — open only when the line looks like your slip cheat sheet.

📸 Optional but observed: pre-fill glasses while toppings still simmer.

Prep station FAQ

Q1.When should I prep toppings in Japanese Ramen Simulator?

Creator preview runs treat 10:00 as the last quiet window: read Today’s Ramen, chop on the board, fill cooking trays, boil/marinate eggs, then stage the pass before the first ticket. Exact day length is not officially published — see /guides/first-week-walkthrough.

Q2.What is a cooking tray vs a serving tray?

Grey/black cooking trays hold chopped toppings near the line (JMXP shop unlock + Part 4 restocks). Black/red serving trays carry gyoza, beer and combo tickets to tables. Running out of either stalls tickets — details in /guides/dish-washing-guide.

Q3.How do cutting boards work?

Place the white board on a prep table, interact to chop cabbage/garlic/chashu/green onion until the UI completes. Day 1 patch notes add right-click lock/unlock; preview footage still chops while locked (/guides/beginners-guide).

Q4.How many seasoned eggs should I prep?

Part 5 tutorial text says “place ten eggs” in the simmering pot; trays in footage hold a dozen or more after marinating. No official per-day quota — prep enough so halving during tickets never waits on the marinate bar (observed).

Q5.Does prep differ for rice bowls or gyoza?

Shared chashu/green onion trays feed ramen and rice bowls (/guides/rice-bowl-guide). Gyoza uses a separate pan/plate loop (/guides/side-dishes-guide) but still competes for pass space and serving trays at rush (/guides/dish-washing-guide).

Q6.Will Early Access match this preview prep flow?

Footage is from October 2026 creator previews (v0.1.50.17746 live). UI labels, tray counts and unlock levels may differ — prefer /changelog and in-game tooltips when they conflict with this page.
