What this guide coversOBSERVED

This page is not FIFO queue math (see /guides/rush-hour-kitchen-flow) or noodle/topping physics (see /guides/noodle-toppings-guide). It walks one ticket from UI read → mise on trays → bowl check → side dishes on serving trays, using Max V2 Part 5 creator preview footage.

How we label data

This is an unofficial fan wiki. Each claim carries a source label so you can tell what the developer confirmed from what we estimated.

  • OFFICIALFrom the Steam store page, official announcements or patch notes.
  • OBSERVEDSeen in gameplay footage or hands-on builds; the release build may differ.
  • PLAYER REPORTReported by players on Steam; we have not reproduced it.
  • SITE MODELA calculation or estimate built by this site — not an in-game value.

Screenshots are from Max V2 Part 5 creator preview builds (~2026-10-03). Live Early Access and later patches may change UI labels, prices, and unlock levels — prefer /changelog for official facts.

Timestamps and menu lines are single-run observations, not a published schedule. Official dish-clearing staff, payout tweaks, and post–v0.1.50 UI changes are on /changelog.

Ten steps: read the ticket, build the tray, serve every lineOBSERVED

Japanese Ramen Simulator opening prep at 10:07 on day 17 with the Today’s Ramen panel listing tonkotsu miso, chicken shoyu and tonkotsu shoyu recipes beside stacked serving trays on the steel pass
STEP 01

Step 1: Read Today’s Ramen before you flip the sign

Open the Today’s Ramen panel (G) to see which broth × sauce pairs are active. In the preview run (Day 17 around 10:00), tonkotsu miso, chicken shoyu, and tonkotsu shoyu were all on the board — customers only order inside that set. Stage black serving trays and water glasses before the first slip lands.

Japanese Ramen Simulator rush-hour prep for ticket 008 with chicken miso ramen bowl card, chopped cabbage trays and paper slip 008 on the steel pass at 12:10 on day 18
STEP 02

Step 2: Parse the Order Slip line by line

The Order Slip UI mirrors the paper ticket: icons for pork/chicken broth and miso/shoyu tare, then topping rows, then sides and drinks. During the Day 18 rush (12:10 banner), preview ticket 008 is chicken miso ramen with chopped cabbage — read paper slip “008”, cabbage trays, and the bowl card together. Other tickets in the same run also show gyoza/beer rows on the slip (observed).

📸 One slip = one checklist, not just “make ramen.”
Japanese Ramen Simulator counter-seat popup listing tonkotsu shoyu ramen with grated garlic and menma plus a pan-fried gyoza plate while the customer waits at table 013
STEP 03

Step 3: Cross-check the counter-seat popup

Counter Seat windows repeat the same order at the stool. Preview seat 013 asked for tonkotsu shoyu with grated garlic and menma plus a gyoza plate. Match seat UI to the kitchen slip before you add toppings — it catches swapped table numbers.

Japanese Ramen Simulator rush-hour order slip for ticket 004 requesting tonkotsu miso ramen with chopped green onion and ground meat topping above matching prep trays and a No. 004 paper slip
STEP 04

Step 4: Build miso bowls with separate topping rows

During rush (12:57 banner), ticket 004 requested tonkotsu miso with chopped green onion and ground meat. Preview footage lines prep trays with each topping and keeps paper slip “004” beside the Order Slip. The creator mentions holding left mouse for precise placement — treat that as streamer commentary, not an official control doc.

📸 Miso tickets always have a tare row plus topping rows.

STEP 05

Step 5: Inspect the bowl card before garnishing

Highlight the bowl to read miso tare, noodle thickness, firmness, and umami/aroma stats. Preview bowl 004 showed tonkotsu miso, thin noodles, normal firmness. If the card disagrees with the slip, remake before serving — the creator poured the wrong broth once while focusing on beer foam.

STEP 06

Step 6: Stage tickets with empty bowls on the pass

When multiple orders stack, park paper tickets beside empty bowls on the steel pass and keep black trays free for sides. Queue ordering belongs in /guides/rush-hour-kitchen-flow; here the goal is visual pairing so afternoon rush tickets do not blur together.

STEP 07

Step 7: Restock menma mid-shift

The preview run runs out of menma during lunch and pauses to order menma, water, and a beer keg from the Food Market terminal. Restock packs to the prep zone before returning to tickets. Catalog umami/aroma numbers are UI flavor hints — official scoring math is not published.

Japanese Ramen Simulator seasoned egg tray on the pass with eighteen peeled boiled eggs soaking in shoyu tare at 0 percent marinate progress during day 19 morning prep
STEP 08

Step 8: Batch marinated eggs before halved-egg tickets

Around level 16 the preview unlocks packaged eggs (observed). Simmer ten eggs in the stew pot, peel, then marinate in a seasoned egg tray with shoyu tare until the bar advances. Halve eggs only after marinating so “halved seasoned egg” lines stay fast during service.

📸 Boil and marinate off-peak; slice on demand.
Japanese Ramen Simulator order slip for tonkotsu shoyu ramen with halved seasoned egg and nori while a tray of sliced eggs and nori packs sit on the stainless prep counter
STEP 09

Step 9: Read halved-egg + nori lines literally

Tickets list Halved Seasoned Egg and Nori as separate rows. Preview prep keeps a halved-egg tray and nori packs on the same counter with the slip in hand. Count nori sheets when the slip shows ×2 — same failure mode as double toppings in /guides/beginner-mistakes-guide.

Japanese Ramen Simulator order slip for ticket 001 listing tonkotsu shoyu ramen with halved seasoned egg, nori, ground meat topping and pan-fried gyoza above a bowl mid-assembly
STEP 10

Step 10: Close combo tickets with gyoza on a tray

Ticket 001 in the preview stacks tonkotsu shoyu, halved egg, nori, ground meat, and pan-fried gyoza. Finish the bowl, plate gyoza onto a serving tray, and handle beer rows with /guides/beer-pouring-guide foam timing. Loop dishes via /guides/dish-washing-guide; first-week pacing lives in /guides/beginners-guide.

Customer order FAQ

Q1.What is the difference between Today’s Ramen and the Order Slip?

Today’s Ramen is the daily recipe frame (broth × sauce). The Order Slip is per customer and adds topping lines, gyoza, drinks, and counts. Preview footage shows both panels at once.

Q2.How do I read a miso ramen ticket?

Pair the pork/chicken icon (broth base) with the miso tare row, then each topping line separately. Recipe names and prices are on /recipes; miso unlock timing is covered in /guides/level-unlocks-guide.

Q3.How is this different from the rush-hour kitchen flow page?

/guides/rush-hour-kitchen-flow focuses on queue order and movement models. This page explains what each line on a ticket means and how to stage trays — use both.

Q4.When should I prep seasoned eggs?

The preview unlocks packaged eggs near level 16 and preps boil + marinate before opening. Service then only halves eggs to match slip rows (observed). Step-by-step board/tray footage: /guides/prep-station-guide.

Q5.Can gyoza and beer share the same ticket as ramen?

Yes in the preview — Order Slip rows list Pan-Fried Gyoza and Beer alongside ramen. Plate sides on serving trays; beer needs glass/foam steps from /guides/beer-pouring-guide.

Q6.What if menma runs out during lunch?

Part 5 stops to order menma, water, and kegs from the terminal. Restock before tickets pile up; ingredient list on /ingredients.

Q7.Does live Early Access match this footage?

Day 1 (v0.1.48.17626) officially added dish-clearing staff and payout tweaks. UI and prices may differ — check /changelog and /guides/player-faq.
